The new function known as "admin review" is in
development and will be made available in a subsequent update of the app,
according to the app-tracking website.
It is not yet time to make the reporting option available
to beta testers.
To help group administrators better monitor the groups,
WhatsApp is developing additional options for them. Users will now be able to
report particular messages to the group administrator, thanks to this new
upgrade.
A message that is reported by a group member is sent to the admin for review. If they believe it breaks the rules of the group, they will have the option of deleting the message for the entire group.
The group settings section will now provide this new option
for users.
As this function is accessible under the group settings
screen, only group admins will be able to enable it.
Additionally, a newly added part of the app, which is found
within the group's metadata, will only allow admins to read the reported
messages.
This feature will enable group members to be careful with what information to be shared on the platform
When the administrator is online, anyone who finds
something offensive or inappropriate can report it so it can be deleted.
All members would have a secure environment thanks to this.
We recommend it to you.
