Rapper Edem was brought before Theeshie District Court on charges of allegedly hitting a woman with his car on the George Walker Bush Highway in Accra on Saturday, December 9, 2023.
According to the court, the incident took place while Edem was driving a Honda Touring vehicle with the registration number GX 3011-19.
Tragically, the 40-year-old woman did not survive the accident, despite being rushed to the Police Hospital for treatment. She was pronounced dead upon arrival.

The court presided over by Nana Abena Asor Owusu Amenyo charged the 'Love You' hitmaker with two counts of careless and inconsiderate driving, as well as negligently causing harm.
