According to recent rumors, Manchester United is eyeing Ajax
player Mohammed Kudus as a possible replacement for Chelsea midfielder Mason
Mount.
Even though Kudus isn't presently in the lead, the club's
struggles to sign Mount have made him a strong candidate on their shortlist.
The fact that top clubs are showing a lot of interest in
Kudus, who has excelled throughout his time in the Eredivisie, suggests that he
may be moving to a more competitive league soon.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Brighton has also expressed
interest in the Ghanaian international player. Manchester United's probable
involvement gives the scenario another layer of complexity because they have
been the team with the greatest overt interest up to this point and have
already started talking with Ajax.
The transfer saga's course is uncertain, as Ajax is rumored
to be asking for €45 million for the outstanding midfielder.
Kudus had a stellar season with Ajax, scoring 18 goals and
dishing out seven assists in all competitions. His exploits have drawn the eye
of numerous elite teams, demonstrating his potential and piqueing the English
Premier League's curiosity.
