The schedule for vetting the presidential candidates has
been made public by the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
According to a statement made by the secretary of the
vetting committee, Evans Nimako, on Friday, June 30, the vetting will begin on
Monday, July 3.
According to the schedule, on Monday, July 3, former trade
minister Alan Kyerematen, energy expert Kwadwo Poku, and vice president Dr.
Mahamudu Bawumia will all be vetted.
Boakye Agyarko, a former energy minister, Kwabena Agyei
Agyepong, a former party general secretary, and Kennedy Agyapong, a member of
parliament for Assin Central, will all speak before the committee on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, July 5, Dr. Kofi Konadu Apraku, Dr. Owusu
Afriyei Akoto, and Joe Ghartey will speak.
